Chainsaw Safety
(General Industry)
This course provides a chain saw safety overview as related to the 29 CFR 1910.266 standards for logging operations. Topics to be discussed include definitions, personal protective equipment (PPE), hazards, chain saw safety and training. At the end of this course, students should have a basic understanding of chain saw safety in logging operations. Proper use of chain saws is an integral part of a compliant logging operation safety program.
We recommend Windows 7 or newer, IE 10 or newer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. We recommend all other windows on your computer be closed and your computer speakers turned on. The system does not support telephone call in.
