You can print individual standards out from the federal OSHA website (for General Industry Standards or Construction Industry Standards) or you can purchase the General Industry or Construction Industry Standards books from our office.

Event Description:

Fall Protection
(Construction Industry)

This course provides an overview of the fall protection standard, 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M. Topics to be discussed include regulatory requirements, fatality statistics, falling object protection, fall protection methods, fall protection plans and training requirements. At the end of this course, students should have a basic understanding of the regulatory requirements, fall hazards and methods to either eliminate fall hazards or guard against them.

We recommend Windows 7 or newer, IE 10 or newer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. We recommend all other windows on your computer be closed and your computer speakers turned on. The system does not support telephone call in.

The Department of Labor does not provide certificates for employees viewing our pre-recorded webinars. These webinars were live recordings and contain chat conversations. For this reason, you will not be able to interact with the instructor during the recording.
