COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) for Hopsitals and Pharma in Hospital Settings
North Carolina has adopted Federal OSHA’s COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) for Healthcare, in effect July 21, 2021 in NC. This course will cover the ETS in detail including the specific requirements for hospitals and pharma in hospital settings, the min-respiratory protection program, along with guidance documents and consensus standards that are incorporated by reference. Topics discussed will include exemptions from the ETS, the elements of the COVID-19 Plan, personal protective equipment, training, recordkeeping, medical screening and transmission-based precautions. At the end of this course, students should have an understanding of the regulatory requirements of the new ETS for hospitals and pharma in hospital settings.
We recommend Windows 7 or newer, IE 10 or newer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. We recommend all other windows on your computer be closed and your computer speakers turned on. The system does not support telephone call in.
