Bloodborne Pathogens*
(General and Construction Industry)

This course provides an overview of the bloodborne pathogens (BBP) standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030. Topics to be discussed include the scope of the standard, definitions, exposure control, methods of compliance and equirements for HIV/HBV research and production facilities, HBV vaccination programs, training and recordkeeping. At the end of the course, the student should have an understanding of BBP identification, risk elimination and reduction and regulatory requirements for companies that have potential employee exposure.

To maximize your benefit from this course, we recommend you bring the applicable North Carolina Occupational Safety and Health Standard(s) to class. You can print individual standards out from the Federal OSHA website (for General Industry or Construction Industry) or you can purchase the standards book from our office.   2. You will receive your certificate via email within 3-4 weeks.
  3. We only provide certificates to those who register and attend.
  4. Total course hours equal MESH credit earned.
