Event Description:

Please Note: Our system will not accept duplicate emails. Certificates will only be provided to those who register and log into the system using the appropriate registered email account. Hazard Communication*
(General and Construction Industry)

This course provides an overview of the hazard communication (HazCom) standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200. Topics to be discussed include hazard communication workplace requirements, management and employee HazCom roles and required elements for an effective written program. At the end of the course, students should have a basic understanding of the hazard communication regulatory requirements, purpose, hazard determination methods, written program elements, labeling requirements, SDS elements, and training requirements.

NOTE: 29 CFR 1926.59 has the same requirements as 1910.1200.

The Department of Labor does not provide certificates for employees viewing our pre-recorded webinars. These webinars were live recordings and contain chat conversations. For this reason, you will not be able to interact with the instructor during the recording.
